Alma Plans

I offer three flexible learning plans : Bloom, Flourish and Flex, designed to support students at different stages of their learning journey.

Below, you’ll find a clear overview of how each plan is structured, what’s included, and which option may be most suitable for your child.

Please note: All sessions must be used by the end of the half term. You can find the relevant dates in the term table below.

Build strong foundations and grow with confidence.

12 Sessions

Alma Term Table

Session Format

Online sessions are 30 minutes, providing children with a focused and engaging learning experience, particularly for younger learners.

In- person sessions are 60 minutes, allowing additional time for personalised teaching, interaction, practical activities and deeper consolidation.

Session length and frequency may be recommended according to your child’s age, individual needs and learning goals.

Home Enrichment Learning & Consolidation

With each Alma Education plan, children will receive recommended home consolidation and learning tasks to reinforce what has been covered during their tutoring session.

These activities are designed to be manageable and purposeful, giving children an opportunity to revisit key skills, practise independently and strengthen their understanding between sessions.

Home learning will be reviewed, where appropriate. This helps us monitor progress, identify areas that may need further support and encourage children to take ownership of their learning.

I strongly recommend completing these activities as learning doesn’t stop when the tutoring session ends. Consistent, small amounts of practice between sessions can make a significant difference to confidence, retention and progress.

Choosing the Right Frequency

The most suitable number of sessions will depend on your child’s individual needs and learning goals.

  • One session per week – ideal for ongoing support, consolidation and maintaining steady progress.

  • Two sessions per week – recommended where a child requires additional support, is working towards a specific target or would benefit from more regular reinforcement.

  • Older children and exam preparation – two sessions per week, or longer sessions where appropriate, may be recommended to allow sufficient time for teaching, practice, exam technique and consolidation.

Flexible support, when you need it.

Flex is designed for families who want greater flexibility while still benefiting from personalised, high-quality tutoring.

This plan is particularly suitable for children who may not require weekly tuition but would benefit from targeted sessions around specific areas, upcoming assessments, school transitions or periods where additional support is needed.

Flex includes:

  • Personalised tutoring sessions

  • Flexible, needs-led learning

  • Targeted support around specific areas or goals

  • Recommended home consolidation following sessions

  • Home enrichment activities

  • Home learning reviewed where appropriate

  • Sessions adapted according to your child’s current priorities

  • Online or in Person (London)

Ideal for: families looking for occasional or ad-hoc academic support, targeted intervention, holiday tuition or preparation for a particular learning goal.
