The Five Values of Alma Education
These values guide how I work with every child and every family — simple, honest, and at the heart of Alma Education.
1. Patience
Learning unfolds in its own time. I honour each child’s natural pace, giving them space to think, try, repeat and grow without pressure. Patience creates confidence — and confidence creates progress.
2. Inspired Learning
Children learn best when they feel curious and motivated. I design lessons that spark interest, invite exploration and help children feel proud of what they can do. Inspired learning leads to joyful learning.
3. Creativity
Creativity isn’t just art — it’s problem‑solving, flexible thinking and seeing the world in new ways. I encourage children to explore ideas, make connections and express themselves with confidence.
4. Intentional Teaching
Nothing I do is accidental. From the prepared environment to the materials I choose, every part of my teaching is thoughtful, structured and purposeful. Intentional teaching helps children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
5.Connection
Learning is relational. I build genuine, trusting connections with children, families and adult learners so they feel safe, understood and supported. When learners feel connected — to their tutor, to the environment, and to the learning itself — confidence grows naturally
