About Me

I’m Nadia — a teacher and tutor with 13 years in education and a journey that’s taken me from London to Australia, across the South Pacific, and through cities like Doha, León, Las Palmas and Mexico City. Those experiences taught me that children everywhere share the same need: to feel seen, supported and capable of more than they imagined.

What I have seen

Families today are surrounded by mixed messages and rising expectations — and somewhere in all of that noise, the simple truth is often forgotten: children learn best when they feel safe, understood and supported.

Parents want to help their children thrive, but they aren’t always given the tools, the time or the clarity they need.

I see the same with adult ESOL learners — motivated, capable individuals who simply need patient guidance, clear explanations and a calm space to practise and grow.

How I have been helping students

I bring clarity and simplicity back into learning. I break things down. I explain the “why”. I give children — and adults — the space to think, try and grow at a pace that feels right for them.

Above all, I help families and learners feel supported rather than overwhelmed.

Alma Education offers a calmer, kinder path through education. A place where children can shine, adults can grow, and parents can finally breathe.

What I do

I tutor children aged 3–11 with a nurturing, structured approach. I support children and families through:

  • strong foundations in reading, writing and maths

  • gentle, child‑centred preparation for the 4+ and 7+

  • clear, organised learning for families who want guidance and confidence

I also teach ESOL classes for adults, helping learners build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing so they can thrive in everyday life, work and community settings.

My Pedagogy

My teaching is deeply influenced by Montessori principles — especially the belief that children learn best in a prepared environment: calm, intentional, beautifully organised and designed to promote independence.

I value:

  • freedom within structure

  • hands‑on exploration

  • respect for each child’s natural pace

  • the uninterrupted work cycle

My international experiences shape the way I teach, the materials I create, and the calm, open‑minded perspective I bring to every lesson.
